We supply bespoke Straps for Ercol Seating (loops on the end fixed with dowels), and Slot in Straps (clips on the end) made to order and ready to fit. In addition we also supply Pirelli Webbing
Skiddaw Upholstery evolved from a family re-upholstery business established in the 1940’s. Still run by qualified upholsterers from the same family.
We are no longer involved in re-upholstery, preferring to concentrate on our Ercol and Pirelli replacement strap service.

Sorry, we cannot give advice on how much webbing you will need or how much tension is required to make the straps. Our advice is to buy made up kits.

Please: measure the width of the webbing at the slot as the current webbing will have stretched! It will be 51mm (2″) or 38mm (1 1/2″) the narrow straps 19mm (3/4″)
